Martina Franco Flies to First in the Azimut Trophy at LGCT of Mexico City CSI 5* & CSI 2*

Mexico City, Mexico โ€“ April 12, 2024 โ€“ The โ‚ฌ28,710 Azimut Trophy was judged as a CSI 2* speed class with a height of 1.45 m. A total of 51 horse-rider combinations took on the course designed by Canadian Peter Grant. The arena featured a total of twelve obstacles and thirteen jumps.

Mexican rider Martina Franco (MEX) with the mare Douce Emeraude d’Or claimed victory by completing the fastest and faultless round of the competition. Franco, who had shown outstanding performance in the previous days of the contest, completed her round in a time of 65.22 seconds.

With a small difference of 45 hundredths of a second, the second position went to Colombian rider Ruben Arroyave (COL) and his mare Valeska Z, who finished their round in a time of 65.67 seconds.

The podium was completed by Mexican rider Josรฉ Antonio Chedraui Eguรญa and his horse Good Limit, doing so in 67.93 seconds.
