
Miami Beach, Florida, USA – April 05, 2024 – For the past 4 years Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Blood Diamond du Pont have gradually climbed their way to the top of the sport. On Saturday, before going on to finish third in the €350,000 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Miami Beach CSI 5*, they delivered another winning performance, this time in the €105,500 GCL Individual Speed Challenge CSI 5* during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach CSI 5* & CSI 2*.

Going up against 44 other combinations in the 1.55m speed challenge, the Frenchman and the 13-year-old bay Selle Français gelding were supreme by clearing all the obstacles on the course while being quick to register the winning time of 66.91 seconds.

The Frenchman faced a fierce challenge and Kent Farrington (USA) posed the greatest threat to his victory, mastering the course aboard Myla before crossing the finish line in 67.51 seconds to earn silver honors for the host nation.

Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) was on top form with H&M Luna van’T Ruytershof, rounding out the top three flawlessly in 68.17 seconds.
