Wellington, Florida, USA โ March 21, 2024 โ Stephex Stables is one of the most important showjumping teams in the world and on Thursday they proved that again! It was a one-two for the Belgian squad as Zoe Conter (BEL) and Tombola Z led the pack in the $32,000 Dodd Technologies CSI 4* on Thursday during the eleventh week of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at Wellington International.

Despite her young age and facing much more experienced riders, Conter (BEL) handled the 1.50m course like it was a walk in the park, guiding the 11-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood stallion (Echo van’T Spieveld x Darco) towards a faul-free run across the finish line in 67.10 seconds.

The winning duo’s mark proved to be too much for their teammates, Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) and Nector vd Bisschop, completing the Stephex feat in 68.23 seconds.

The United States was represented on the podium by Alison Robitaille (USA), who steered Ester de Maugre in flawless fashion too, doing so in 68.42 seconds.
