Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 08, 2024 – Top British rider, Ellen Whitaker (GBR) had an impressive win with Korlenski, her lovely 9-year-old mare (Cornet Obolensky) €28,800 Ashford Farm Trophy CSI 4*, a Longines Ranking speed class held in the Milton arena. 

There were 69 horses in the class and Whitaker riding the bay Dutch Warmblood – Royal Dutch Sport Horse (KWPN) across the finish line in flawless fashion, being timed in 67.62 seconds.

She was over a second faster than her nearest challenger, Turkish rider, Derin Demirsoy (TUR) with O-Kannarock (Rock’n Roll Semilly x Kannan). 

Third place was claimed by French rider who has had plenty of good results at the 2024 Andalucía Sunshine Tour with various horses, Marie Demonte (FRA).  Today, she rode Epona du Quesnoy towards bronze honors in 70.44 seconds.
