Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – March 03, 2024 – Holly Smith (GBR) and Fruselli were on fast & furious mode on Sunday closing out the week in grand fashion by claiming victory in the €28,600 ClipMyHorse.TV Grand Prix CSI 2*. In fact, it was the second victory for this impressive pairing this week, after winning the Vejer Trophy last Thursday.
The British rider capped off a fantastic with her 14-year-old Royal Dutch Sport Horse – Dutch Warmblood stallion (Zambesi TN x Karandasj), winning a disputed jump-off in which eleven pairs participated and in which they obtained a brilliant time of 34.68 seconds.
Second place was claimed by João Víctor Castro (BRA) and Babacool (Tlaloc M x Urbain du Monnai), who completed their jump-off round in flawless fashion in 35.70 seconds.
The third spot on the podium was conquered by Marie Demonte (FRA) with Epona du Quesnoy (Ogrion Des Champs*HN x Nabab de Reve), registering their second foot-perfect performance of the 1.45m contest in 36.42 seconds.
