Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 29, 2024 – Guy Williams (GBR) and Ernie of Greenhill Z stole the spotlight on Thursday at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour CSI 2*. The British rider and the 12-year-old Zangersheide stallion (Emerald x Caretino) were supreme in the €28,600 Catunambú Trophy CSI 2*. Their foot-perfect round in 63.28 earned them victory in the 1.45m class, held at Milton Arena, overcoming 63 other combinations.
Yuri Mansur (BRA) con Fleur D’Oz were right on the heels of the eventual winners, earning silver honors only nineteen hundredths of a second behind. Alessandra Reich (AUT) and Anyway Van Het Kervijnhof Z completed the top three, registering no penalties in 64.67 seconds.
