
Vejer de La Frontera, Spain โ February 24, 2024 โ Kara Chad (CAN) made the most of being the last to go in a 12-horse jump-off in the โฌ28,900 Small Grand Prix CSI 4* on Saturday at the Andalucรญa Sunshine Tour. With many top riders in the class, she pulled all the tools out of the box, to ride two, foot perfect rounds, on the super Igor GPH (Harley x Crawford 5), who is owned by Fordville Farm Inc.
The class was set at 1.45, designed by Elena Boix and held on grass in the All In arena, number 16. The Canadian and the 11- year-old Royal Dutch Sport Horse Dutch Warmblood gelding stopped the timers in 38.10 second, the only clear in under 40 seconds, and knocked Kars Bonhof (NED) and Ivoor TN (Eldorado VD Zeshoek x Verdi TN), off the top spot with their then leading flawless performance in 40.27 seconds.
Finishing in third was Swiss rider, Anthony Bourquard (SUI) Everest DโEllipse (Vagabond de la Pomme x Kannan), registering a double clear and a final time of 41.74 seconds.
Fourth was another Dutch rider, Mans Thijssen with Joviality (Warrantโ x Silvderstone) and fifth was French, Penelope Leprevost with Fedor V H Moeshof (Quick Star x C Indoctro).
