
Vejer de La Frontera, Spain โ February 08, 2024 โ British rider Nicole Lockhead Anderson (GBR) is on a winning streak, after being top of the podium yesterday in the eight year old class, and third in that same class today with Mecoblue PS. On Thursday, she flew around the Pavo Trophy CSI 4* speed class to win in fine style in the main grass arena; David Broome. This was the first time the arena has been used so far in this 30th edition of the XXX Andalucรญa Sunshine Tour, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of Andalucรญa, through Tourism and Sports of Andalucรญa.
With 63 competitors to beat, she stopped the clock in 56.56s with the lovely 10-year-old stallion, I Am a Harley, by Harley x Otangelo owned by Emily Sage.
Just behind in 57.80 seconds was Dutch rider, Mel Thijssen (NED) with Florida Balia NL (Bustique x Lux Z); and in third was recently arrived, Jรฉrรดme Guery (BEL) with Come Away Flamingo Z (Cardento 933 x Dollar du Murier).
Fourth was Colombian, Rene Lรณpez Lizarazo (COL) with Driss de Kerglenn (Mylord Carthago*HN x CAP Kennedy*Bois Margo) and fifth, Italian, Ludovica Minoli (ITA) with Jus de Krack (Unaniem x Querlybet Hero). The class was sponsored by Pavo, who specialise in equine nutrition.
