Geneva, Switzerland – December 09, 2023 – Ireland was well represented at the CHI Geneva over the weekend and one Irish rider stood tall above the rest, Seamus Hughes Kennedy (IRL), riding Cuffesgrange Cavadora to victory in the CHF $30,000 Defender Grand Prix CSI U-25, the main competition for riders under twenty-five at the Palexpo.

Of the 30 combinations at the start, eleven managed to obtain their entry ticket for the jump-off. In front of well-filled stands, the riders did not hesitate to play the game to the fullest, galloping quickly and turning as quickly as possible.

We had to wait for the fourth competitor in this jump-off to obtain the first double zero and a reference time for the contenders for victory… An ultimately, the unbeatable time of 37.33, synonymous with first place for the Irish rider Seamus Hughes Kennedy (IRL), in the saddle on Cuffesgrange Cavadora.

Robert Murphy (GBR) and Hulde G continued to shine on the big stage, this time finishing second in 38.01 seconds while Matias Larocca (ARG) and RR Vitaly rounded out the top three in 42.04 seconds.
