After an excellent foal auction season, Zangersheide.Auction has again prepared a collection for its annual Broodmares & Embryos edition, which traditionally takes place in the month of November. This year again, a particularly strong collection has been put together with a mix between interesting broodmares on the one hand and embryos with top genetics on the other.

One of the pearls of the collection is undoubtedly the mare In Love JW van de Moerhoeve, a daughter of Jenson van ‘t Meulenhof in combination with Nabab de Rêve. This In Love JW van de Moerhoeve is a half- sister of the grey stallion Mumbai, the top horse of German rider Christian Kukuk.

Another mare that will no doubt interest many breeders is the mare Vendetta de La Roque, the daughter of Kannan and Quercus du Maury, who herself jumped at 1.50m level with French rider Adeline Hecart. Vendetta de la Roque is expecting a foal by Dexter De Kerglenn next year and is thus an excellent opportunity to expand your breeding.

If you dream of breeding a fantastic jumper with a palomino or buckskin colour, Christina Z will definitely interest you. Christina Z is a daughter of Chellano Z and already gave Pascal Brunner’s 1m60 jumping Ilze. Christina Z is pregnant with the cremello stallion Diamante, this combination will certainly bring some colour to your stable!

Other genetic gems are the mares Electra Z, a sister of the 1m60 jumping Athene pregnant with World Champion Ermitage de Kalone and Christie Z who carries the blood of the world-famous Ratina Z.

Embryos
The collection also includes another 17 embryos with an exceptional pedigree from the best dam lines in the world that are automatically insured through this auction until 48 hours after birth in 2024.

Of particular interest are the full sister or full brother of the GP horse Darry Lou and a female embryo of Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof out of the mare Centa de Muze (Cento), who herself is already dam of five 1.50m horses.

One of the other eye-catchers is a female embryo of Conthargos out of the full sister of the stallion Kashmir Van Schuttershof (Nabab de Rêve). This mare Allegria Van Schuttershof is also the dam of the stallion Elton Joh Wow (Toulon), currently jumping at 1.50m level under the saddle of Michel Robert.

Furthermore, in the collection we also see two embryos by Catoki Z, one of which is out of the mare Kassanah Hero Z (Kassander van ‘t Roosakker), the half-sister of Ben Maher’s former GP horse Tic Tac Seigneur. Kassanah Hero Z is also the dam of the filly Chacannah Vk Z (Chacco Blue), who was sold at the Zangersheide Quality Auction in September for €52,000.

Finally, the blood of our Zangersheide stallions is once again present during this Broodmares & Embryos auction. Thus, there are 2 embryos by Dominator 2000 Z of which a female embryo out of the dam line of World Champion HHS Ocala (Urano de Cartigny), an embryo of Aganix du Seigneur Z out of the GP mare Tinkabell 12, a female embryo of Dourkhan Hero Z from the dam line of Michel Hecart’s Kannan’s Girl (Kannan) and an embryo of rising star Toèmme de Regor Z from the same dam as the GP mare Evita van ‘t Zoggehof (Golden Hawk).
