Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – October 26, 2023 – The Spanish anthem rang out across the arenas here at Montenmedio on Thursday for Jesús Garmendia Echevarría (ESP), riding the Sandano 2. The Spaniard and the 13-year-old grey Oldenburg gelding (Sandro Boy x Boixac S.A) had an impressive win in the Coca-Cola Trophy CSIO 3*, stopping the clock in just 53.85 seconds.
The closest combinations to their time was Frenchman Harold Boisset (FRA), continuing his success here, riding T’Obetty du Domaine, and who finished in 56.40 seconds.
Irishman, Tom Wachman (IRL) was third with Cathalina S, Fourth was Ricardo Pisani (ITA) with Charlemagne JT Z and fifth was American rider Paris Sellon (USA) with Aconzina PS.
