Helsinki, Finland – October 20, 2023 – Shane Breen (IRL) and Scarteen scored the biggest win of the day on Friday at the 2023 Helsinki International Horse Show CSI 5*-W, riding supreme in the  €28,200 Pohjola Kansainvälinen Prize CSI 5*-W.

Facing 41 othe combinations in the 1.45m speed test on the course designed by Guilherme Jorge (BRA), the 10-year-old grey gelding (Cardento x Chellano Z) propelled the renowned Irishman to first place, doing so in flawless fashion after tripping the timers in 55.64 seconds.

Lorenzo de Luca (ITA) and Violino Il Palazetto joined the “concert”, playing not second but third fiddle to the tune of bronze honors, being time in 56.58 seconds.
