Elian Baumann is the Best in Winning Round Challenge CSI 4*-W at the Morocco Royal Tour – Tétouan

Tétouan, Morocco – October 08, 2023 – Besides the €98,000 H.R.H The Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Grand Prix CSI 4*-W, another major competition took place on Sunday during the first leg of the 2023 Morocco Royal Tour CSI 4*-W in Tétouan. Earlier in the day, the €26,200 Prix de La FRMSE – Moroccan Royal Equestrian Sports Federation Prize CSI 4*-W , a 1.50 m winning round class  won by Swiss rider Elian Baumann (SUI) and Hold Up di Vico P.

The Swiss rider and the 2013 chestnut Belgian Warmblood gelding (Rubens di Ri d’Asse x Darco) were supreme in decisive round of the 1.50m challenge, overcoming eleven other of the original 29 entries who had challenged Gregory Bodo’s course, completing the final track in 37.15 seconds.

Simon Delestre (FRA) & Crack d’Aiguilly Z

Simon Delestre (FRA)and Crack d’Aiguilly Z came the closest, earning reserve honors in 38.62 seconds while Bart Clarys (BEL) Oscar van Spieveld complete the top three in 38.75 seconds.

The second leg of the 2023 Morocco Royal Tour takes place in Rabat this week, at the Dar Es Salam, headquarters of the Federation, for the Moroccan CSIO 4*-W.

3) Bart Clarys (BEL) & Oscar van Spieveld– 0 / 0 – 38.75
