Sisters of Zanotelli’s CSI5* GP Winner Offered on Stal Optimus Auction

A full sister of Like a Diamond along with fillies sired by Ermitage Kalone and Cardento and an embryo from the CSIO 5* Nations Cup winner Cristel are just a few of the highlights featured in the annual auction of the Studfarm Optimus.

**Fortuna Optima** (Foncetti X Bamako X Quidam)

Sister of Like a Diamond
Like a diamond won GP CSI5* Paris, was 2nd in Samorin and 3rd in Rome. Now, her sister, Fortuna Optima, is being offered in the auction. Fortuna Optima is sired by Foncetti vd Heffinck, an emerging 9-year-old son of For Pleasure, ridden by European Champion YR Thibault Spits.

Fortuna Optima‘s dam, Cacacha vh Schaeck, performed at 160 level with a junior rider, as did her brother H5 just the Music (3rd GP’s CSI5* La Baule and Calgary). The 2nd dam won on 160 level and is the sister of E-Muze YEK 160. The 3rd dam is the sister of Funky Music 160, Quartz-Musik 160 and Krapuul
160.

embryo auction – one sired by Ermitage Kalone and the other by Cardento

**Elodie Optima** (Emerald X Cento X Calypso II)

Sister of CSIO 5* Winner Cristel
Elodie Optima is a sister of Cristel, the Grand Prix mare that achieved a CSIO5* Nations Cup victory with Niels Bruynseels and secured numerous CSI5* placements with Jérôme Guéry.

**Chaplin Optimus** (Chacco-Blue X Cento X Calypso II)

Brother of CSIO 5* Winner Cristel
Cristel is also a sister of the stunning colt Chaplin Optimus, sired by Chacco Blue.

Embryo of CSIO 5* Winner Cristel by Excelsior Optimus
From Cristel herself an embryo is offered. The Sire, Excelsior Optimus is a 3-year-old BWP approved stallion with a dream pedigree. He is a son of Ermitage Kalone out of the topmare Cacacha vh Schaeck 160 which makes him half-brother of Like a Diamond. A granddaughter and a grandson of Cristel are also included in the auction collection.

**Elektra Optima** (Emerald X Kashmir X For Pleasure)

Emerald x Sister Vagabond de la Pomme
Elektra Optima is an amazing filly out of the sister of Vagabond de la Pomme. This dam has already produced a 160, a 155, and three 145 horses. Her 6-year-old son, Unstoppable de la Pomme, is approved for Zangersheide and Holstein.

Top riders have faith in this dam. Niels Bruynseels, Jordy van Massenhove, and Vincent Lambrecht have each purchased a full brother of Elektra.

**Eureka Optima** (Ermitage Kalone X Zirocco X Vagabond)

Ermitage Kalone x Oryzon vh Schaeck 150

In the collection are two daughters of Oryzon van het Schaeck, a 9 years old mare, competing at the 3* Grand Prix level and ready to move up to the highest level soon.

The second dam also competed at the 160 level, and the fourth dam is Walnut de Muze, the top horse of Harrie Smolders.

Ermitage Kalone is the Sire of one of these fillies. Additionally, there are two more fillies in the auction sired by this exceptional stallion.

Ermitage Kalone is currently considered one of the best horses in the world.

**Etna Optima** (Emerald X Jaléo du Defey X Major de la Cour)

Emerald x Niece of Olympic gold medallist Jus de Pomme
From the niece of Olympic gold medallist Jus de Pommes a filly is offered. This dam is also the niece of the Olympic horses Quintus & Tresor d’Opaline and CSI5* jumpers Richebourg & Shogun. O’ Bailey vh Brouwershof, the emerging stallion of Maikel van der Vleuten, originates from the same damline

A few other lots from the collection include:

A daughter of Anita du Park (150), the sister of Gregory Whatelet’s Beau Gosse du Park (160), and the niece of four horses that jump at the 160 level. Anita gave already the 8-year-old Panamarenko Optimus (145) and the approved stallion Sirocco Optimus.
A daughter of Perla Optima, 8 years old and already jumping at 150, damline Taj Mahal and Obourg.
A niece of Olympic Gold Medallist H&M All In.
A daughter of Jillonse DH (150). Jillonse has already produced two 9-year-olds that compete at the 155 and 150 levels. Jillonse is also the full sister of the 160 jumper Jonsounier DH. The second dam of the filly is the 160 GP mare Withney Dwerse Hagen.

All foals had a vet check and were approved. The examination report is accessible through the website.
