
North Salem, New York, USA – October 01, 2023 – Of the 39 entries to challenge the $10,000 Old Salem Farm Jumper Classic on Sunday, only nine finished double-clear over Ken Krome’s winding 1.35m course. Bringing home top honors was Ireland’s Paul O’Shea (USA) and Little Magic d’Asschaut with their faultless time of 39.919 seconds.
O’Shea and Trelawny Farm LLC’s 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding were the fastest of 15 horse-and-ride combinations to make the jump-off, with Americans Carly Anthony and Kent Farrington joining them on the podium.

Anthony piloted Portfolio Horses LLC’s 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Jet Blue to a second-place finish in 40.560 seconds.

Farrington posted a 40.629-second score for third with Greya, his own 9-year-old Oldenburg mare.
The Old Salem Farm September Horse Shows ran September 12-17, September 19-24 and September 27-October 1 with competitions for riders of all levels and ages, ranging from young children on ponies to top Grand Prix stars aboard their up-and-coming mounts.
