Mark McAuley & GRS Lady Amaro are the Aces of the €60,000 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 3*

Grimaud, France – September 24, 2023 – The second week of the Fall Tour came to an end on Sunday at the Hubside Jumping de Grimaud and it was Mark McAuley (IRL) and GRS Lady Amaro who rode to victory in the €60,000 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 3*.

Forty-four combinations entered the ring to face the 1.55m obstacles on the first-round course designed by Stefano Morriale (ITA) but only ten of them managed to complete the track in flawless fashion and within the time allowed to qualify for the tiebreaker.

In the end, it was the Irishman and the 2013 chestnut Irish Sport Horse mare (Amaretto D’Arco x Over The River) who were supreme, duplicating the clean feat in the decisive round while securing the win in 34 seconds flat.

The host nation was denied the victory but did manage both a second and third-place finish. Pénélope Leprévost (FRA) rode Bingo del Tondou (Vigo D’Arsouilles Stx x Querlybet Hero) impecably too, completing her penalty-free performance in 35.09 seconds for silver honors while Edward Levy (FRA) and Uno de Cerisy (Open Up Semilly x Siego) rounded out the top three in 35.18 seconds.
