Grimaud, France – September 17, 2023 – Johnny Pals (NED) and Zarkava Hero Z were the heroes of the week at the during the first week of the Hubside Fall Tour, claiming the victory in the €60,000 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 3* last Sunday at the Haras de Grillons equestrian venue near the famous Saint Tropez.
Pals (NED and the 2011 bay Zangersheide mare (Zandor Z x Calvaro Z) powered past four other combinations, out of the original 47 other ones, who took part in the tiebreaker, doing so in 40.69 seconds.
Jack Whitaker (GBR) and Equine America Valmy de La Lande (Mylord Carthago*HN x Starter) jumped their way towards two clean pefroances too, securing the second spot on the podium in 41.08 seconds.
Bronze honors was conquered by the Frenchman Jean Luc Mourier (FRA), who guided Kielekoo Van`T et L (Carabas Vd Wateringhoeve x Canadian River) were the only only other pair that registered a clean scorecard, rounding out the top three in 41.89 seconds.
