Warsaw, Poland โ September 14, 2023 โ Belgiumโs Wilm Vermeir (BEL) seized victory in the most prominent Thursday competition of Warsaw Jumping CSIO 4* – the international equestrian event being held at the Sลuลผewiec Racecourse until Sunday. During the four-star world ranking show jumping competition, being at the same time the PLN $109,100 Grand Prix Qualifier,ย Vermeir came on top with his mare Dirina O.H.Z.

It has been a great day and a nice one to start competitions with. Last year I won the same competition and it just feels great here. Looking back at my Poznaล and Sopot scores, along with todayโs one, I might consider switching my citizenship to the Polish one and represent this country – stated the winner with a grin.
Poland has this time secured both second and third place โ all thanks to Marek Lewicki (KJ Czahary) with La Pezi and Jarosลaw Skrzczyลski (KJ Agro Handel ลrem) with Loulou MPsz.

Itโs a perfect start of the weekend. Iโm feeling extra happy about this win. Itโs a very good horse, she doesnโt do many shows. We are currently doing training shows and I said to myself that weโre gonna do it slowly, but I let her go once and she did it perfectly. – reassured the experienced 44-year-old rider, currently ranking 50th on the globe, and with definite experience of Warsaw Jumping medal flavour.
