
Brussels, Belgium – August 25, 2023 – Earlier in the day, Britain’s Ben Maher (GBR) came out strongest in a challenging CSIO5* qualifier against the clock. Riding Ginger-Blue (Plot Blue x Royal Bravour), he managed to clear the course and top the leaderboard with a razor sharp time of 64.76 seconds.
Eighteen other riders successfully navigated the course without faults. Max Wachman (IRL), the 18-year-old Irishman who won his first 5* class the day before, and Quintini (Quintender 2 x Cassini II) almost took the win but were 0.20 second too slow.
Belgium’s own, Pieter Devos (BEL), clocked in at 67.10 seconds with Jarina J (Cicero Z Van Paemel x Harley), securing a commendable third place.
