Toronto, Canada – August 19, 2023 – The third leg of the 2023 Major League Show Jumping series brought much excitement to spectators at Angelstone Events on Saturday and two Irishmen were responsible for a ferocious battle in the $38,500 Sprucewood Winning Round CSI 5*. The Irish duel featured Daniel Coyle (IRL) and Darragh Kenny (IRL), two of the most daring daredevils of the noble sport.

In the end, it was Coyle who prevailed with Ivory TCS, guiding the 10-year-old black Dutch Warmblood mare (Falaise de Muze x Ukato) in flawless fashion over the 1.45m obstacles before crossing the finishing line in 40.81 seconds.

Darragh Kenny (IRL) and Vancouver Dreams gave the eventual winners a run for their money, finishing just over three-tenths of a second behind.

As, the only other combination to register two clean performances, Audrey Schulze (USA) and Darquito managed to secure bronze honors, doing so in 41.46 seconds..

1) Daniel Coyle (IRL) & Ivory TCS – 0 / 0 – 40.81

2) Darragh Kenny (IRL) & Vancouver Dreams – 0 / 0 – 41.12

3) Audrey Schulze (USA) & Darquito – 0 / 0 – 41.46
