Giampiero Garofalo Becomes Scuderia 1918 Racing Team Member

Rome, Italy – July 25, 2023 – Two are the promising new horses owned by Scuderia 1918 join the Giampiero Garofalo (ITA) team: Grand Prix (m. S.F. 2016 – Vagabond de la Pomme x Ceasar van de Helle) and Scuderia 1918 Feel Good Chance (g. S.F. 2015 – Cazador LS* La Silla x Quick Star).

These two horses, respectively seven and eight years old, were previously under the saddle of the champion Kevin Staut (FRA), who, in agreement with the team, has decided to send them to Giampiero Garofalo’s yard for training and for giving them time to mature.

With Joriska (pictured) he won the teams 1.45 class during the Italian Championship Tour in Piazza di Siena 2023, where he competed as part of Scuderia 1918 team.

Giampiero was part of the Young Riders Academy in 2017.

Nowadays he is based in Belgium, in Lommel, where he runs Morssinkhof Stables, with his girlfriend Lisa Nooren (NED).
