
Saugerties, New York, USA – July 23, 2023 – Three for three! Hits-on-the-Hudson IV concluded on Sunday with Mark Bluman (COL) securing his third and final victory of the week. The Columbian athlete piloted Adje T to the top of the leaderboard in the $25,000 Hits Grand Prix, besting 34 horse and rider combinations. The first to go in a 7-horse jump-off, Bluman and Adje T were quick on their feet, breaking the beam in a speedy 37.879 seconds in the 53-second allotted time allowed for the jump-off round.

Bluman also went last in the jump-off, snagging the second-place honors with Alme Du Buisson Z and finishing their round in 39.785 seconds– nearly two seconds after Bluman’s first-place time.

Molly Ashe Cawley (USA) and Denver de Talma were the only other team who came close to catching Bluman, finishing 0.78 seconds behind him and Alme Du Buisson Z with a time of 40.569 to round out the top 3. Earlier in the week, Bluman had already won the $38,700 SummitMax FEI Welcome CSI 3* and the $145,500 Alliant Grand Prix CSI 3* Bluman aboard Over The Top Stables’ gelding Ubiluc, respectively.
