Grimaud, France – June 22, 2023 – With countless victories at the venue since its conception, Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) was back in the winner’s circle once again at the Hubside Jumping de Saint Tropez. The speedy Italian and Vasco 118 claimed first place in the €26,200 Hubside Special Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3*.
Going up against 63 other combinations in the 1.45m contest, the Italian and the 2014 dark bay Mecklenburg gelding (Vivant x Chacco-Blue) were the fastest amongst 21 pairs who completed both sections of the course in flawless fashion, securing the win in 37.98 seconds.
Despite being denied the victory France managed to put two riders on the podium as Jean Luc Mourier (FRA) and Kielekoo Van T&L (Carabas Vd Wateringhoeve x Canadian River) finished second in 38.24 seconds and Bruno Garez (FRA) and United Sunheup (Balougran x Brett Saint Clair) completed the podium in 40.06 seconds.
