Poznań, Poland – June 09, 2023 – Forty-six horse-and-rider combinations took part in the Trophy of the patrons of Poznań – Piotr & Paweł, for the prizes of the patron of the event – Mr. Roman Roszkiewicz. The class was counting for group C of the Longines rankings, and the fences measured 150 cm. The demanding 13-fence first course included a double and triple combination, and a very precise time allowed. 8 riders managed to advance into the jump-off. There, victory belonged to Frenchman Olivier Robert (FRA) aboard 12-year-old Careca LS Elite.
“I think the course was tough enough, I really love this course designer and I think he did a super job. The jump-off was perfect for my horse today. The ground here is fantastic – we are not always happy like that on grass, but here it’s great! (…) My plan was to go outside of the trees, I thought I would lose two seconds there, but in the end, I won, so I’m really happy. I’ve been riding Careca since last year, he’s a really good friend of mine, a special horse. We are really happy with him and I think the future looks bright!” – said the winner.
