Harry Charles & Aralyn Blue Accelerate to the Top in the €26,200 Suttero Prize CSIO 5*

St. Gallen, Switzerland – June 01, 2023 – Great Britain got off to a great start on the opening day of the 2023 Longines CSIO St. Gallen CSIO 5* as Harry Charles (GBR) and Aralyn Blue blazed towards victory in the €26,200 Suttero Prize CSIO 5*.

The competition was very fierce amongst the top three finishers amongst ten combinations who had advanced to the tiebreaker, out of original 58 entries in the 1.50m challenge. In the end, it was Harry Charles (GBR) who flew the highest and was the fastest aboard Ann Thompson’s 12-year-old bay Oldenburg mare (Chacco-Blue x Ludwig As), registering  36.16 seconds for the win.

The host nation were nipped at the finish line since Alain Jufer (SUI) and Dante MM (Diarado x Luxius) were only one-tenth of a second behind, being timed in 36.26 seconds in the tiebreaker.

The difference between second and third place was even tighter, in fact, only seven hundredths of a second separated the Swiss pair from Denis Lynch (IRL) and Vistogrand, who completed the top three in 36.33 seconds.
