Madrid, Spain – May 14, 2023 – It’s showtime for showjumping at the 112th CSI 5* of Madrid, event that also hosts the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid CSI 5*. The competition is coming to an end today but they have saved the best for last, €500,000 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Madrid CSI 5*. A total of 40 combinations representing Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Sweden and Turkey are set enter the traditional grass ring at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid to challenge the 1.60m course designed by Javier Trenor (ESP). As the pathfinders in the first round, Eoin McMahon (IRL) & Mila are in disadvantage while Simon Delestre (FRA) & Cayman Jolly Jumper go last. The class is set to start at 16:45 local time, 10:45 EDT New York time.
