Canteleu, France – May 07, 2023 – The 2023 edition of Happy Jump International CSI 3* at EquiNormandie – Haras du Loup came to an end last Sunday and it was Mélanie Cloarec (FRA) and Fais Toi Belle du Seigneur de Pleville who ran away with the win in the feature class, the €60,000 EquiNormandie Grand Prix CSI 3*.
The two-round contest featured 60 combinations in the first round, all trying to clear the 1.55m obstacles on the course designed by Gregory Bodo (FRA) and cross the finish line within the time allowed of 80 seconds. In a very competitive challenge, six pairs registered two penalty-free performances and only fifteen hundredths of a second separated the top three.

In the end, Cloarec and the 12-year-old chestnut Belgian Sport Horse (Baltik Sitte) were supreme, backed by a final time of 38.30 seconds.

Gregory Cottard (FRA) and Cocaine du Val (Mylord Carthago*HN x Si Tu Viens) were nipped at the finish line by just eight-hundredths of a second.

The gap between the latter two and the next pair was even tighter, only seven hundredths of a second. Alexis Deroubaix (FRA) and Aldo du Pessis (Orient Express x Palestro II) completed the podium in 38.45 seconds.
