
Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – April 15, 2023 – Joseph Stockdale (GBR) is one of the rising stars of the noble sport and the young rider was on top form yesterday at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 3*, teaming up with Equine Services Rescue Kandleford for the win in the €26,600 CHG – Construcciones Hispano Germanas Trophy CSI 3*.
As one of the eight combinations who had advanced to tiebreaker, Stockdale produced the fastest clean performance with the 2010 black Anglo-European Sport Horse (Kannan x Pythagoras), being timed in 38.63 seconds for the win.
Duarte Seabra (POR) dashed for the cash on Dourados 2 ( Diarado x Cornet Obolensky) but just as part of the name of his, the Portuguese rider had to settle for second place, doing so in 39.27 seconds.
Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) and Corneale (Cornet Obolensky x Caretino 2) cruised towards bronze honors by leaving all the poles up too and completing the course in 40.48 seconds.
