Miami Beach, USA, Florida, USA – April 14, 2023 – Darragh Kenny (IRL) and Vancouver Dreams have had a stellar season competing at the Sunshine State of Florida the past few months and the move down south from Wellington to to the ambiance of Miami Beach did not change anything as the dynamic duo rode to victory in the €26,400 Two–Phase Challenge CSI 5*.
Riding the 13–year–old chestnut Hanoverian mare (Valentino x Stakkato), the Irishman completed the first section of the 1.45m challenge in flawless fashion before charging towards the win in 25.39 seconds.
Maikel Van der Vleuten (NED) also mastered the course with Dywis HH (Toulon x Corofino II), finishing second by less than three–tenths behind, crossing the timers in 25.66 for silver honors.
American spectators were not disappointed as Natalie Dean (USA) guided Chadora Lady (Chacco-Blue x Nintender) were right on the heels of the latter two, rounding out the top three in 25.84 seconds.
