
Gorla Minore, Italy – March 30, 2023 – The fifth week of the 2023 Gorla Spring Tour got off to a great start and the home crowd were not disappointed as Enrico Maria Frana (ITA) and Ponciarello powered to the top in the €27,000 Prestige Speed Challenge CSI 3* on Thursday at the Equieffe Equestrian Centre.
Teaming up with the 12-year-old bay Italian Sport Horse stallion (Dohitzun Guernica x Calypso II), Enrico excelled in the 1.45m constest, blazing past the favorites to win the class backed by a penalty-free performance in 69.48 seconds.

Vladimir Tretera (CZE) and Gangster VH Noddevelt (Eldorado vd Zeshoek) also nipped many renowned riders at the finish line, yet leaving all the poles up to secure silver honors in 70.53 seconds.

One of the favorites to take home the gold, Gudrun Patteet (BEL) and Sea Coast Monalisa van`T Paradijs (Bamako de Muze x Emerald) did not disappoint. Their clean round in 71.48 was not good enough for the win but earned them a respectable third place in the final standings.
