Belgium is the Best as Vincent Lambrecht “Lights Up” in €26,300 CES Valencia Tour Grand Prix CSI 2*

Valencia, Spain – February 12, 2023 – The second week of top sport came to a conclusion on Sunday and it was the Belgian anthem that was played loud over the speakers of the main ring during the second week of the Spring Tour at the CES Valencia Tour. Vincent Lambrecht (BEL) and Catwalk Harry claimed top honors in the €26,300 CES Valencia Tour Grand Prix CSI 2*.

Riding Catwalk Horse Team’s 2009 Irish Sport Horse gelding (Verdi TN x Obos Quality 004), Lambrecht managed to edge out François Xavier Boudant (FRA) and Brazyl du Mezel (Haloubet de Gorze x Apache d’Adriers). Both combinations managed to complete their jump-off performances in flawless fashion, the only difference being their times of 38.48 compared to 38.65 seconds.

Oddly enough, the differences between first and second and second and third place were the same, seventeen hundredths of a second. Bronislav Chudyba (CZE) and Vroom de La Pomme Z (Vigo D Arsouilles Stx x Unknown) also left all the poles up for no penalties, securing bronze honors in 38.82 seconds.

Podium: 2) François Xavier Boudant (FRA), 1) Vincent Lambrecht (BEL) 3) Bronyslav Chudyba (CZE)
