A Stylish Victory by Darragh Kenny & Chic Chic in the $75,000 CaptiveOne Advisors Classic CSI 4* at Wellington International

Wellington, Florida, USA  – January 30, 2023 – A great weekend of top sport and CSI 4* action concluded on Sunday at the Wellington International. In addition to CSI 2* competition, the Captive One Advisors CSI 4* 1.50m Classic highlighted the day on Sunday. Ireland’s Darragh Kenny (IRL) took the victory riding Chic Chic.

Riding the 2011 Westphalian stallion (Comme Il Faut x Contendro I) owned by Vlock Show Stables, Kenny was supreme against 11 other combinations who had advance to the tiebreaker out of the original 43 who took part in the contest, securing the victory in flawless fashion while tripping the final timers in 37.59 seconds.

The competition was fierce and of high level evidenced by the top three combinations all finishing within a quarter of a second of each other. Laura Kraut (USA) and Bisquetta left all the poles up in their two performances too, securing second place in 37.82 seconds.

Jos Verlooy (BEL) and FTS Killosery Konfusion (SIEC Livello x Cruising) were right on the heels of the previous duo, but this time the margin couldn’t be any smaller since only one-hundredth of a second separated them, being good enough for bronze honors.
