Constant van Paesschen Continues with His “Winning Ways” at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 3*

Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – January 19, 2023 – Constant van Paesschen (BEL) has been one of the winningest riders the past few years competing at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour and the Belgian added another victory to the long list of great achievements there. After winning the €30,750 Grand Prix of Oliva Nova CSI 2* last Sunday,this time, Paesschen teamed up with Vendetta Treize, powering to first place in the Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 3* on Friday. Constant and the 2009 black Belgian Warmblood stallion (Diamant de Semilly x Eiger I) were supreme by completing the 1.45m course of the speed challenge in flawless fashion, being timed in 62.99 seconds.

Three powerhouse nations of the noble sport claimed the top three spots on the podium. France finished second as Max Thirouin (FRA) guided Utopie Villelongue (Mylord Carthago*HN x Calypso d’Herbiers) across the finish line in 64.60 seconds while Katrin Eckermann (GER) and Van Bambelby (Van Helsing x Wogenbrecher) rounded out the top three backed by a clean performance in 65.90 seconds.
