Sarasota, Florida, USA — December 29, 2022 — With the 2023 Sarasota Winter Classic quickly approaching, West Horse Shows would like to take the time to introduce you to our incredible new venue! The TerraNova Equestrian Center was born from a vision to deliver an unparalleled equestrian experience for exhibitors, spectators, and equine athletes. Hannah and Steve Ketelboeter had a vision to produce luxury and lifestyle amenities in a picturesque setting where the horses could still be horses.
Every detail was carefully considered and collaborated on to produce the most inviting and safe stabling, competition arenas, and outdoor accommodations for both horse and rider. Settled in the peaceful countryside of Myakka City, you can enjoy both top-tier competition while feeling at ease in a soothing environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Unlike many other show facilities, TerraNova is nestled away on over 225 acres so your horse can enjoy vast grazing and roaming space while benefiting from the state-of-the-art stabling barn featuring 12×12 stalls with included fans and mattress system.
TerraNova’s facility is both family and pet friendly, with options to stay onsite or close to downtown where you can enjoy all that Sarasota has to offer.
In it’s fourth-annual year, the 2023 Winter Classic is not only looking forward to welcoming all to this stunning facility, but also to offering a significant increase in divisional prize money for amateur-junior and professional divisions. Featuring the $50,000 Grand Prix of Sarasota during both weeks, as well as a lengthy list of jumping Classics and hunter derbies, the totality of the Sarasota Winter Classic will offer over $200,000 in prize money to be distributed. Stabling submissions and entry forms are also now available online on the website. Exhibitors are encouraged to submit their stabling requests early and entries will be considered ‘late’ and susceptible to a late fee after December 30, 2022.
