Kronenberg, The Netherlands – December 18, 2022 – Déjà Vu! Alex Housen (BEL) won the Van Mossel Super Grand Prix CSI 2* for the second time in a row, this time Cassandra HSP. It turns out that had already won the class last year, earning the keys of the Audi A4 Avant sponsored by Van Mossel Group and the right to ride it for a year.
The Grand Prix featured eleven riders that had qualified for it by winning one of the 19 Grand Prixs that took place at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre throughtout the year. Five combinations managed to complete the first of two rounds without having penalties attributed to them, with only three duplicating the feat to climb onto the podium.
Gaj Riossa (SLO) led much of the way aboard Entertainer (Warrant x Corland) after having tripped the timers in 43.64 seconds.
Leopold van Asten (NED) put on a valiant effort with VDL Groep Nino du Roton (Iron Man van de Padenborre x Codex) in the second round. However the Dutchman had to settle for third place after crossing the second-round timers in 44.21 seconds.

Alexander had the advantage of going last on the 2010 grey Slovenian Warmblood mare (Sandro Boy x Calido I) and he didn’t take it for granted, blazing through timers in 42.91 seconds for the win.
