Valence, France – December 01, 2022 – For the second week in a row, Olivier Perreau (FRA) and GL Events Dolce Deceuninck were the first winners at the Hubside Jumping Valence CSI 3* & CSI 2*. The duo were victorious in the €26,250 Hubside Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3* on Thursday during the second and final week of the Winter Tour at the cozy showjumping venue.
An international field of 58 combinations participated in the 1.45m challenge but it was the Frenchman and the 2009 bay Belgian Sport Horse mare (Toulon x Cartier van de Heffinck) who completed the two phases flawlessly and had the fastest final time of 25.36 seconds for the win.
Matching the winners’ clean performance all the way to the wire but in 25.88 seconds, the second spot on the podium was claimed by Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Cesus de Fougnard (Tlaloc M x Calvaro).
Marc Dilasser (FRA) and E2K Abricot Annemmelle (Quaprice Bois Margot x Lux Z) completed the all-French podium, registering no penaties and completing the speed section of the contest in 26.76 seconds.
