Stephanie Holmén & Flip’s Little Sparrow Back on Top on Home Soil

Stockholm, Sweden – November 25, 2022 – The host nation steals the spotlight! To the delight of Swedish spectators, Stephanie Holmén (SWE) and Flip’s Little Sparrow were victorious in the SEK $610,000 Agria Prize CSI 4* on Friday at the 2022 Swedish International Horse Show CSI 4*.

Nine of the original 18 combinations advanced to the jump-off of the 1.50m challenge , the feature class of the day at the event. In the end, it was Holmén who came out on top with the 2006 dark bay Swedish Warmblood mare (Cardento 933 x Robin Z). The dynamic duo secured the win backed by a penalty-free performance in 34.94 seconds.

Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and H&M Miro (Diamant de Semilly x  Kannan) also left all the poles up for no penalties in their two performances, finishing second in 35.72 seconds.

Stopping the jump-off timers in 36.04 seconds, John Whitaker (GBR) earned bronze honors with Equine America Unick du Francport (Zandor x Helios de La Cour II).
