Rouen, France – November 24, 2022 – Pénélope Leprévost (FRA) got off to a great start on Thursday at the 2022 edition of Equiseine CSI 4* & CSI 2* by claiming victory in the €25,950 Prix Carno Avocats CSI 4* . Once again, the oustanding French rider teamed up with Texas, a 2011 bay Swedish Warmblood gelding (Tornesch 1042 x Robin Z), with whom she had already conquered teh 2022 French Pro-Elite Championship last April. This time the dynamic duo were supreme in the 1.50m speed challenge by registering the fastest clean performance, crossing the timers in 62.15 seconds.
The next eighteen-highest ranked combinations in the speed test also had a clean scorecard so the two remaining top positions were also decided on time. Gilles Thomas (BEL) rode Feromas van Beek Z (Fantomas de Muze x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) towards a second-place finish in 62.63 seconds while Julien Gonin (FRA) and Caprice de Guinfard (Mylord Carthago*HN x Socrate de Chivre) completed the podium in 63.02 seconds.
