
Valence, France – November 24, 2022 – Olivier Perreau (FRA) and GL Events Dolce Deceuninck were back on top of the podium on Thursday during the winter edition of the Hubside Jumping Valence CSI 3* & CSI 2*, showing power and precision to win the €26,000 Hubside Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3*.
An international field of 62 combinations participated in the 1.45m challenge but it was the Frenchman and the 2009 bay Belgian Sport Horse mare (Toulon x Cartier van de Heffinck) who completed the two phases flawlessly while registering the fastest final time of 29.69 seconds.
Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and Citadin du Chatellier (L’Arc de Triomphe x Diamant de Semilly) matched the clean scorecard of the eventual winners, finishing second only four-tenths of a second slower.
The host nation dominated the top-three positions as François Xavier Boudant (FRA) and Brazyl du Mezel (Haloubet de Gorze x Apache d’Adriers) rode towards bronze honors in 30.42 seconds.
