Back to Business as Usual for Bertram Allen Riding to Be the Best in €25,950 Ashford Farm Grand Prix 2*

Kronenberg, The Netherlands – November 05, 2022 – It was back to business and to the winner’s circle for Bertram Allen (IRL) last Saturday as the Irishman teamed up with Emmylou for the win in the €25,950 Ashford Farm Grand Prix 2* at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre.

Bertram and the 2012 bay mare (Billy Mexico x Lupin Z) beat 14 other combinations in the tiebreaker by boasting not only the fastest time amongst all the finalist but also leaving all the 1.45m poles up, securing first place in 38.09 seconds.

Evelyne Putters (BEL) & Eye of the Tiger

Evelyne Putters (BEL) and Eye of the Tiger (Carambole x Corleone) were just shy of being a full second slower than the winning mark, settling for second in 38.99 seconds.

Felix Koller (AUT) & Contagia

Felix Koller (AUT) guided Contagia (Contagio x Balou du Rouet) towards bronze honors, matching the double clear of the previous two while being only seven-hundredths of a second behind the previous combination.
