Vilamoura, Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 05, 2022 – Trevor Breen (IRL) and Gonzalo galloped towards the gold in the €25,560 Garvetur Jump-off Challenge CSI 3* on Saturday during the fourth fourth week of the 2022 VillaMoura Champions Tour at the VillaMoura Equestrian Centre.

Riding the 2011 bay Royal Dutch Sport Horse / Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) gelding (Viceroy T x Londontimes), Breen bested 10 other combinations in the tiebreaker, registering no penalties in 38.08 seconds for the victory.

Once again, the rivalry between Great Britain and Ireland continued and once again a British rider came close but finished second. Adrian Speight (GBR) and Millfield Baloney (Balou du Rouet x Kanudos) matched the clean scorecard of the eventual winners, finishing second in 38.34 seconds.

Alberto Zorzi (ITA) and Bacardi Les Hauts (Rexar du Houssoit x Cavalier) also completed both of their performances in flawless fashion, rounding out the top three in 39.72 seconds.
