
Vilamoura, Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – October 30, 2022 – Victor Bettendorf (LUX) continued to shine under the spotlight at the VillaMoura Equestrian Centre, riding Mr. Tac to victory in the €51,300 Grand Prix of Vilamoura CSI 3* on Sunday.

Riding the 2012 bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Non Stop x Toulon), Bettendorf had to overcome a challenging first-round course and only another combination in the tiebreaker, registering the only double clear of the 1.50m contest, completing their second performance in 44.73 seconds.
Oliver Fletcher (GBR) and Garande (VDL Groep Zagreb x L’Espirit) were the only other combination to qualify for the decisive round, posting a round of score 4 penalty-points and a final time of 46.05 seconds.
Dan Kremer (ISR) and Mahonie Van Orshof (Zilverstar T x Argentinus) were the fastest four-faulters in the first round, earning bronze honors due to their time of 73.70 seconds.
