A Blissful Victory by Bliss Heers & Antidote de Mars in the $3,220,000 GNP Seguros Grand Prix CSI 5* at Club Hípico Otomí

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico – October 22, 2022 – Bliss Heers (USA) jumped to the biggest win of her career on Saturday night, and she did it aboard her heart horse. Saving the very best for last, Heers and Antidote de Mars, a 12-year-old Selle Français stallion (Diamant de Semilly x Jarnac), won the $3,220,000 GNP Seguros Grand Prix CSI 5* under the brights lights of Club Hípico Otomí.

From a five-horse jump-off, Heers had only her Helios teammate Karl Cook (USA) with Kalinka van’t Zorgvliet to beat, who was sitting on the leading time of 34.13 seconds. before she entered the ring.

Heers and Antidote took on the challenge and were brilliant, setting the winning mark in 33.32 seconds. Coming off a MLSJ team victory the night before, Heers and Cook went one-two.

Also pocketing one of the best results of her career, Canada’s Vanessa Mannix (CAN) rounded out the podium in third on Kingston, registering the only other double clear of the 1.55 contest, completing their second performance in 36.05 seconds.
