Oliva Nova, Spain – October 15, 2022 – Marie Demonte (FRA) and Maxwell Van HD were the masters of the day at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 3* on Saturday, topping the €25,500 Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Trophy CSI 3*.
Marie mastered the 1.50m course and the competition aboard the 2012 bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Diamant de Semilly x Toulon), claiming top honors in the tiebreaker, timed in 45.99 seconds.
Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) and Frappant (Warrant x Ticallux Verte) were the only other combination to register a clean scorecard, tripping the jump-off timers in 45.99 seconds.
For the second day in a row, Michael Hughes (USA) and Calisto Blue (Chacco-Blue x Con Air) earned bronze honors in the most important class of the day despited having one pole down for four penalty-points in the tibreaker, earning bronze honors with due to the fastest time of 42.30 seconds.
