
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – October 07, 2022 – It’s almost showtime for showjumping at the Global Champions League (GCL) of Riyadh CSI 5* and the grand finale of the 2022 couldn’t be any more exciting, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 22 – 24 October. After 14 legs of the team championship series, the last one being in New York, the Stockholm Hearts and the Berlin Eagles are neck-to-neck right down to the wire, with just one point separating them before the final competition under sunny skies of the Arabian peninsula.
The heat will be on for other teams as well as they try to finish strong to improve their positions in the overall season standings. Besides the battle for the team title, there is also fierce competition for other top spots in the standings. The Prague Lions, currently sitting in third place with a total score of 239 points, are only five points ahead of their next competitors, the Shanghai Swans (234 points).
The difference between the next two squads is as tight as it gets since the Valkenswaard United have tallied 217 points for the fifth position so far while the London Knights trail them by only one point. Please refer to the button below the top three for the complete season standings.
