Julien Epaillard & Donatello D’Auge Dominate to Win €52,600 Queens Cup – Segura Viudas Trophy CSIO 5*

Barcelona, Spain – October 01, 2022 – The national anthem of France was heard at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona on Saturday thanks to the impressive victory by Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Donatello D’Auge in the €52,600 Queen’s Cup – Segura Viudas Trophy CSIO 5*.

Epaillard (FRA) and the 9-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Jarnac x Hello Pierville) were supreme against 55 other combinations who took part in the first round of the 1.50m contest, and thirteen others who had advanced to the winning round, securing the win in 38.46 seconds.

France earned a one-two finish as Kevin Staut (FRA) rode Visconti du Telman (Toulon x Dollar du Murier) towards silver honors, doing so in 39.14 seconds at the end of the decisive round.

Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and Cap du Marais (Kannan*GFE x Landor S) completed the podium backed by a penalty-free winning round performance in 41.47 seconds.
