Kronenberg, The Netherlands – September 16, 2022 – The €26,400 SeaconLogistics Prix CSI 3* was the feature attraction of a busy Friday at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre. In the end, it was Marcus Westergren (SWE) who came out on top after teaming up with Hurry Up G.
Course designer Henk Linders (NED) and his assistant set up a competitive class with 16 efforts that also forced competitors to be quick across the ground to complete the 1.45m challenge within the time allowed. The competition was fierce, not only judging by the 84 entries but also by the level of the riders and horses, resulting only seven combinations advancing to the jump-off.
Despite being the first to go in the decisive round, Marcus Westergren (SWE) was supreme with the 2012 grey Dutch Warmblood mare (Bernini x Berlin), duplicating their clean performance from the first round while stopping the timers in 37.95 seconds.
One of the rising stars of the sport, once again Ioli Mytilineou (GRE) showed great form on Levis de Muze (Elvis Ter Putte x Tinka’s Boy) finishing second after a clean scorecard and a final time of 38.44 seconds.
Ernesto Canseco (MEX) and It’s Possible Srk (Berlin x Quidam de Revel) posted the third-fastest penalty-free peformance in the tiebreaker, securing bronze honors in 38.98 seconds.
