
Grimaud, France – September 18, 2022 – Starting in last position in the jump-off of the €25,500 Hubside Small Grand Prix CSI 4*, Laura Kraut (USA) and Bisquetta snatched victory from eleven other competitors who had qualified for the jump-off of the feature class on Saturday during the second week of the Hubside Jumping’s Fall Tour at Haras de Grillons.

In the ring of the Hubside Jumping Arena, the American and the 2014 bay Zangersheide mare (Bisquet Balou van de Mispelaere x Takashi van Berkenbroeck) triumphed in teh 1.45m challenge by completing their second penalty-free performance in 43.31 seconds.
They were ahead of two young international show jumping hopefuls, Mégane Moissonnier (FRA) who rode towards second place with Bracadabra (Pacific des Essarts x Couleur Rubin) and Britain’s Harry Charles (GBR), third with Aralyn Blue (Chacco-Blue x Ludwig AS). Both combinations also registered a clean scorecard in the tiebreaker with the Moissonier rider edging out Charles, crossing the finish line in 43.58 seconds compared to his final time of 44.14 seconds.

“Bisquetta is only eight years old and I couldn’t be happier with her progress, especially here in St. Tropez! We were already second last Sunday in the Grand Prix CSI 3*, which was our second event at 1.50m. This week, I chose to put her in slightly smaller events and she is perfect, still very fast. I think she loves what she does. “
