
Ascona, Switzerland – September 11, 2022 – Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) dashed for the cashon the final day of the Longines CSI Ascona 4* & 2*, winning the €27,500 Bruno Schoher Prize CSI 4* with his faithful partner Vestmalle des Cotis.
The German and the 13-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Baloubet du Rouet x Landor S) were the fastest combination among a group of twelve who had qualified for the jump-off, registering no penalties in 38.43 seconds at the end of their second performance.
Gudrun Patteet (BEL) and Sea Coast Enjoy Z (Emerald x Parco) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, earning silver honors only twleve hundredths of behind the eventual winners.
Kevin Jochems (NED) and Flying Jackie (Nabab de Reve x Voltaire) also posted two fault-free efforts, completing the podium in 39.85 seconds.
