Toronto, Ontario, Canada – August 21, 2022 – Saying that the Bluman stole the spotlight at the third leg of Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) at Angelstone Tournaments is certainly an understatement, but Daniel Bluman (ISR) was not alone in the winner’s circle. Mark Bluman (COL) put on a show too, winning the $37,200 Ram Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday.
The Colombian was supreme against 11 other combinations in the jump-off, not only by being the fastest with 8-year-old chestnut Selle Français mare (Vigo Cece x Ogano Sitte) but also flawless, completing their second performance in 33.70 seconds.
Taylor St. Jacques (CAN) and Jakilly (Harley VDL x Odermus R) were the closest ones, finishing second due to their final time of 34.76 seconds while Grant Seger (USA) rounded out the top three with Yoghi FLP (FRH Quaid x Stakkato) in 35.02 seconds.
Winner’s Circle – Mark Bluman (COL)
” I know my mare is very fast. This is her first 2* grand prix. She’s only eight, and this is my second show with her. I tried to let her gallop and do the same strides as everyone else, but trust that she was faster than all the others. It was not only a good show for me personally but for my team and my family. The family brought home a lot of red ribbons this week and we are extremely happy.”
